ShowWrapz Drawings & Prototype, Patent Pending, by Phil Manker

The ShowWrapz slips on and off the shoes, while wearing them, in seconds, and is durable. It can easily be carried in a pocket, or purse. This prototype, on an athletic shoe, has been walked and run with, on many surfaces, for more than 10 weeks, with almost no visible wear and tear!
Patent pending.

Patent Stitch Socks Started

The patent stitch socks started again, this time on 48 cast-on stitches. The cast on is a cool braided affair that I learned in Merike Saarniit’s class at the Sock Summit last summer.
Once the cuff is done, I’m going to just go plain and solid with the navy color. I have no idea how I’m going to get the cuff from 48 to 72 stitches for the body of the sock. Should I do it all at once? Over several rows? I’ve got a while to think about it…
